About Rally Retreats

Great Sport. Great Places. Great Company.

Rally Retreats was created to bring together a love of tennis, padel and travel.

Our aim is simple: to create carefully organised European breaks where you can enjoy plenty of quality court time while still feeling like you’re on holiday.

We don’t want our retreats to feel like intensive training camps. They’re an opportunity to play, improve, meet people and enjoy some fantastic destinations along the way.

Meet Casey Lyonette

Tennis has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I’m incredibly fortunate to have turned that passion into a career spanning more than 20 years.

From representing Surrey at both junior and senior level to representing Great Britain on the ITF Seniors Tour, tennis has taken me on an amazing journey, both on and off the court.

Over the past two decades, I’ve coached players of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners picking up a racket for the first time to experienced competitive players looking to take their game to the next level.

It’s this combination of playing, coaching and a love of travel that inspired me to co-found Rally Retreats.

My vision was simple: to create unforgettable tennis and padel holidays that offer the perfect balance of quality coaching, beautiful destinations and the chance to relax, explore and enjoy yourself.

With retreats in Spain, Ibiza and Portugal, whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, enjoy some friendly competition or simply escape with friends who share your love of the game, there’s something for everyone.

Above all, I want every Rally Retreats guest to experience the kind of holiday I’d love to go on myself — great coaching, great company and memories that last long after the final match.

And with Rally Retreats being an ABTOT member, you can book with confidence, knowing your trip benefits from financial protection.

I look forward to welcoming you on court!

Meet Duncan Mattey

Padel has become a huge passion of mine, and one of the things I love most about the sport is how it brings people together, wherever you are in the world.

I’ve been fortunate enough to play padel at some incredible venues across the globe, experiencing different clubs, facilities and playing environments along the way.

In 2026 alone, my love for the game has taken me to Mexico, Miami, Ibiza, Faro and Málaga, giving me the opportunity to experience everything from fantastic courts and world-class facilities to the unique atmosphere and social side of padel in different destinations.

For me, padel is about so much more than just the game itself. It’s about discovering new places, meeting like-minded people, enjoying a bit of friendly competition and, of course, having a great time both on and off the court.

These experiences have given me a real appreciation for what makes a memorable padel getaway, and it’s something I’m passionate about bringing to Rally Retreats.

Alongside my co-founder Casey Lyonette, I want to create holidays that combine fantastic playing opportunities, carefully selected destinations, great company and plenty of time to relax and enjoy everything the location has to offer.

Whether you’re an experienced player looking for your next padel adventure or someone who simply loves the idea of combining sport with a brilliant holiday, I want Rally Retreats to offer something truly special.

My aim is simple: to create the kind of padel holidays I’d be excited to book myself — great courts, great destinations, great people and unforgettable experiences.

I look forward to seeing you on court!

Our Approach

More Than Just Court Time

Our retreats combine structure with downtime.

A typical day includes around two hours of tennis or padel in the morning and another two hours in the afternoon, with the rest of the day available to relax and enjoy the hotel, resort and destination.

Group sizes are deliberately limited, helping us create a more personal and sociable experience.
